had my vec over two years never had any problems and m o ted twice with no probs not even an advise thats good going if you ask me.

mmmmmmm, 5 Vauxhall CDTi's, 225000 miles, no breakdowns. Sounds pretty good to me.

Apart from gearboxes - I know petrolatum have them too. I also seem to remember you having egr problems on one of your first?????

Mind you I still maintain that it's people who just do short journeys that have the problems. Motorway munchers seem to have a lot less issues.

all we see at our dealer me and alanv6 is 1.9s driven round town blocking egr and not doing a regen correctly
