What an idiot, I've just found them!

Now going to put back on all the unnecessary bolts I've removed. (Fool)

Certainly not compared to a 4cyl engine!

However I was being a man and was expecting them to jump out at me rather than look . Will know for next time anyway.

In all seriousness, that's why I chose a 2.0T and remapped it rather than get the V6 - it's just too much work. Could be worse though, it could be the V6 mounted lengthways (like in an Omega) with the back end of the engine buried in the bulkhead....

Ah yes, but you don't get that V6 sound and smoothness

The plugs are the only more difficult thing (servicing wise) that I have come across so far and now i've done it once, won't take as long.

However after spending most of the day ****ing about with it and trying to find the right tools etc, i'm not particularly looking forward to doing it again too soon.

I get 90% of the smoothness, and spend only 10 minutes changing the plugs. Going to be swapping out the thermostat this w/e - not sure how easy that job is on the vec 3.2, but on the Omega V6s it would have been a total nightmare.
