lighting opinion needed!

lads, bought some led strips that i am planning on attaching to car, they are similar to merc daytime driving lights. going to wire them into sidelights..........however i am unsure if they will look tacky/chavy need an opinion for a fellow veccy head

the unit was too big to slot into fogs so had to modify slightly to get the right fit, and wire them to a 9v bat just to see how they look

i need some HONEST opinions, as i know most of you will ha

try get them further in...cut the back out the grill,sink them in,will look much better dude

I like them, or sort of... But i'm crazy on symmetry, If i was doing it i would have got 2 sets and done one in the gap just below where you put them, then one below that... If i make sense... So its no higher or lower then the fog...

You could get these (or this type) and you can shorten them by cutting off 3 leds at a time so they fill the backing the full width...

Not for me either, just dont get these daytime running lights, whats wrong with just running with sidelights or even headlights on?

If it were me I'd drill a line of holes across the thicker part(top) of the fog grill and mount some 10mm white leds from behind, just an idea tho

hmmmm thanks for all the feedback lads, another idea i had was to splice the sidelight and have an extra set in the fog light casing (mtec 501's) or even butcher these day running lights to put in. any views on that? as the light wont be focused it should pass an mot, not that it needs it for another 14 months!

the only reson i would have them on the top level is there is already a hole the (i think for adjusting fogs) as i dont want to start wrecking my brand spanking new signum surrounds

sorry about how dirty car is too, waiting for vxr lower skirt to arrive before i give it a good clean!
