Default What does the GID look like with a NCDC2013?

    As the question says really,

I have been in discussion with a trusted friend, with regard to changing my Sat Nav from a CD70 to an NCDC - 2013, (as this would closer match the ISO connectors in my Cavalier. (The NCDC will also have a GID screen)

    However, my query is...
Does anyone have some screen shots of the NCDC2013 with a GID, in all the various modes.
I know BC will still not work on my car (no canbus), however I am interested to see images of The Navigation Screens, Radio etc screens and any other images that you may think are of interest. Possibly start up and stand-by screens.

As many pics as possible please.

I found a few, but couldn't see any actual nav images, or start-up and standby screens
    (turned off, but ignition on)

There's no startup screen mate not like the CID
There just like a normal GID and show the time when off

I will have a look on my comp but the GID is very basic and only offers turn arrows on display and no map function

I'm sure I have a NCDC 2013 and definitely shows a map on the sat nav screen, only a birds eye view though.

Is a GID a colour screen? Never really sure what the differences are when people mention them

Yeah, the CD70 GID is quite similar, it uses "Pictograms", which are arrows, round about pictures and a finishing line flag.

I am just considering changing to NCDC2013 with GID, although the screen appears a little more cluttered than the CD70 equivalent.

These are the CD70 GID screen shots, for anyone who needs to see mine as it currently stands.

My current system is a CD70 with a GID, and so this is not a problem, however I wanted to know the format of maps, warning sysbols etc and also the start-up and stand-by screens, on the NCDC2013 with a GID as compared to mine.

kman has shown me some pics of his blue NCDC2013, which looks very nice, however after looking at wiring pin-outs etc and the general screen layout, I have decided to stick with the CD70.
Okay it doesn't have a CD multi-changer, however the CD70 can do about 6 albums in MP3 format on one CD.

I had been hoping that I could put analogue inputs to the screen for my BC functions, however this seems only possible on the Omega-B and Astra-G set-up.

Anyway, many thanks for the input, it has been gratefully received.

For info, here are some pictures of the NCDC2013.
Very nice, quite like it in the blue aswell.

Forgot to say many thanks to kman for sending the pictures
