hi all im looking into getting some merc alloys and am just after a little advice,i know that you need wobble bolts to fit them but do any merc alloys fit the vec or is it just certain ones that fit?ive got my eye on a set of 20 amg alloys offset is 35,rim width is 8.5 fronts and 10 rears, and stud diameter is 112.

10 inch sounds to me that it will be too wide and the offset is wrong, as for fit Merc alloys bolt straight on to Audi's so the centre bore will be too small. There are a few people that have fitted Merc/Audi wheels to the Vectra but theres a bit of hassle to do so.

Center bores merc 66.1 , vec 65.1 , may need a spiggot , may not

    and wobble bolts needed yes

i think 20" in that offset will be too low Et wise , supoose it depends on how low your car is ~

I'm in the wheel trade and using my wheel calculator and my standard 17" SRi alloys I find that 10x20 et35 is:
It will 1.3" (32mm)wider on the inside (rear) of the rim and 1.7" (44mm) wider on the outside (front) of the wheel.

I suspect 10" will be too wide.
Im running 8.5x18 Merc fittment wheels all round with et35 offset.
I have 235 tyres and its tight on the front and I think I could get away with a 15mm spacer on the back.
