Default is it worth blanking with new inlet manifold (cdti 150)

does anyone know if it is actual worth blanking the EGR if the car has been fitted with the new updated inlet manifold?

    Default

To fully stop the gunk build up its a combination of the EGR and oil breather that causes it, so each on their own will have a good effect on keeping it cleaner for much longer (not to mention alleviating some sill issues you can get).

My personal view is with the cost of a new inlet manifold (and I have had to have this replaced too) anything to help is a good thing and I have had my EGR blanked for over 1000 miles now and its bob on, I keep checking in the inlet too to check on build up and its still very clean.
