I have one on my CDTi (so the noises will be different) but the quality is 2nd to none, and the filter performs very well. On my CDTi it makes some very, very nice noises and makes it more drivable - I love mine.

I've got a BMC CDA, but its still the sealed unit and it makes a big difference!

Its changed position a bit since the pic and is sat further down the engine bay and is more secure

the K&n seems to be a more "generic" filter system and has a tendancy for inducting MAF sensor faults .... to my knowledge no one who has fitted a simota system has experienced anything similar and on most of the SAAB forums that i checked before i purchased a bsr optiflow for my z20net said that they all had problems with the K&n's but most seemed to have simota based systems

the k&n seems to be the simotas cheaper cousin over here -- so more purchase them - only to revert back to standard or upgrade to simota or another CAI system
