Smile dmf / solid conversion help please

hi all, have been a browser on here for a while now and am after some advice please,
    i have a vectra c 2.2dti 2003
i have brought a 2.2dti vectra b engine with solid flywheel attached, as i blew my engine up and the dmf is knackered
i have measured up and the dmf is 20mm thicker than solid one so i would need a 20mm spacer behind the slave cylinder
but it i do this it looks like only halve of the splines in the clutch will make contact with the gearbox splines,
have you any idea if you think this would work with halve the splines in clutch making contact? also do you think my gearbox is different to a vectra b one?
any help much apreciated as engine is ready to go back in and im stuck also if i can get it to work i will post a how-to up

    many thanks for your time

As far as I'm aware there isn't any conversion kits available so you'll more than likely have to replace the dual mass.

Just had a poke about mate and the Vec B and Vec C 2.2dti both use the F35 WR and both with the same final drive, the only thing that might differ are the mounting points and if there hydraulic or cable operated, but a quick visual should tell you that.

I think its just a case of swapping over all the Vec C parts onto the bare B engine inc fuel pump.
