Just for the sound, I presume? The engine already has a turbo bypass valve, that does the same job as a dump valve but in a much more elegant way (instead of dumping boost it uses it to keep the turbo spinning whilst still bypassing the cylinders).

there are several members who do have them fitted - but if you get it wrong then you will induce engine faults - have a search and you will find there is a how2 .. the other option is a cold air intake which will provide less issues (providing its not a K&N) and you will hear the recirculating dump valve already fitted working as well as the turbo spooling

The other option is to purse your lips and exhale rapidly through them.

If you want to draw attention to yourself, why not just put a red/white flag on your car?

The Z20NET is like 'soft' turbo (as used in the Saab 93) and not a 'kick you in the head' turbo engine like the LET. The exhaust burbles away at idle but that's about it. Turbo kicks in from around 2.5k rpm. Really don't think you can up the boost mechanically/manually as it's all ecu controlled. There are a few tuners to remap/chip it to get around 210 bhp, but don't expect a massive amount of support for the engine. Tuners only seem interested in the VXR vauxhall stuff

Mine holds boost around 8-9 psi standard form.. Turbo spools up about 1.5k revs
