Have any of you changed the rear axle stub bearings? My bearings are making a lot on noise and in Australia one set could cost Aus $450.00 a side for a complete stub set.
Can I just replace the bearing inside the set?
Does anyone have photos or advice.

The rear hub bearings have to be replaced as a complete unit. Plenty on ebay, although postage to Ozzy might be expensive, but not $450. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Rear-...item35a870367e

Man are you sure they can't be pulled apart and have the bearings replaced.

Do you have some deep desire to do it the hard way? Lol. Bolt-on/bolt-off ones are much easier.

Na Mate, I just don't have the ready to throw at it. Plus I came from a time when you did all work on cars as much as you can. I don't mind the work, I like to do as much as I could.
