    confused Hayfever??

Been suffering with a sore throat and blocked ears past couple of weeks, Tuesday just gone I get a husky voice and it continues. Doctors on Friday and saw locum who ruled out tonsillitis but having had them out when I was four I should hope so. But a few people have said they reckon hayfever. Taken piriton today and it's not touched it so a bit dubious to spend a fortune if it's not going to work and being as we're camping for Billing I think I need to find something that works!! Anyone suggest anything decent or anyone else think it's just a sore throat or it could be hayfever

Sore throat isn't usually a symptom m8, I have it and I would say if you had it you would have itchy eyes, constant tendancy to sneeze, blocked nose and sometimes feel pressure behind your ears from the sneezing - but everyone is different.

Do you work in a dusty environment? If it is air conditioned is there de-humidifiers? As these can dry out your throat.

Worked same place ten years and it's to do with food so no dust but air con is knackered but been like that for a while but with a cost of 60k+ to fix it they've put it off until now but with it being so hot outside it's working harder and it's not happening and it's roasting at the moment.

Throat isn't actually sore no more but the doctor did say it was slightly inflamed but nothing to worry about and come back if it gets worse! Ears were hurting when my throat was and felt itchy but fine now just a husky voice!

That's what I thought, knew it wasn't tonsillitis as don't have any, laryngitis hurt like a so didn't think that but didn't fancy getting worse before Billing and suffering that weekend so went doctors but was it was just a waste of their and my time!

Hayfever can cause a sore throat if it isnt controlled. Dont buy the expensive stuff its a rip off, buy these its a months worth for under a £1. Its the same product without a brand name and its the same stuff a chemist would give you. http://www.chemist-4-u.com/Cetirizin...Tablets-P.html

I get it really bad and these control it take one every morning and if i dont want even the slightest symptom ill take an extra one in the afternoon.

Doesn't sound like hayfever has the wrong symtoms, i've had it for 30 years its not nice sometimes i cannot move but i get it really bad, people that have never had hayfever don't understand what its like, i take up to 4 tablets a day then they just knock you out. think you've probably got a virus.

Yeah I've never suffered with it and tbh normally fairly healthy have no idea what to expect. Don't think I actually know anyone who suffers from it either so don't know what to expect!
