Generally I don't think they have the issues that the CDTI 150 has, but all the same watch for Fuel regulators, injector issues and SVC's (whatever they are, I just see alot of threads relating to these when talking about the V6 CDTI)

At 90K miles it's near the cambelt change interval
Costs about £200 to £400 (depending on garage)

Make sure it has a FULL history
These cars should be on ECO Flex, so with the key out of the ignition press the odometer reset and it will show the miles to next service
Compare this to the service book

Service intervals are 30K miles / 2 years

The warranty may have expired so you will be free to reduce that, most people go for 20K miles on GM-LL specification oil and 10K miles for everything else

    I have a 2005MY on 110K miles
Apart from one blocked SCV it has been very reliable (the most reliable VX I have ever owned)

According to your profile you have a DTi, not a 3.0 V6 CDTI
If indeed you do have a V6 CDTI, then you would be looking at about £3500

I value mine at £1000 (as I do with any car over 100K miles)
My local VX dealership suggested about £2200 (if I get the paint work corrected they would go to £2500

sorry will change profile,as for 3500 mate i thought this would be worth more like 4500 as does have full vx history and comes with it,aswell as all genuine unrecorded car, would rather swap for something nice like a vectra facelift model than take cash

That's only of value during the warranty period (can help retain value, otherwise up to 25% can be wiped off the value)
After that it is only of use to new owners to ensure it has been serviced

this may give you some idea. I traded my 05 3.0 sri in in December 09. 54,000 miles with full VXL history. Got £4500 for it, which was £500 more than the local dealer was offering. 7 months on I'd say £3500 would be about right, depending on mileage.

i think its worth more than 3500,could be wrong but im not after selling out right for cash as i would much prefer to swap for another vectra than sell for cash, the only way i would sell for cash is if i got closer to £4500,which i dont think i will but you never no,as in no rush,so might aswell try swap for a sri 150 or 120,with same kind of miles and pref a facelift, there will be someone out there who wants a v6 and would be prepared to swap theres im sure

mines done 67k and vauxhall full history and still has 15 months vauxhall dealer warranty left on it
