steering wheel oil (helppp)

i cant find the oil cap for the steering wheel...i think its running out because the steering wheel feels harder and the warning light comes up sometimes and the traction control light stays on

Steering wheel doesnt need oiling - if you oil it your hands will slip off and you'll crash.

If you mean the power steering, then depending on which engine you have the bottle is either tucked under the driver's side wheel arch (remove the wheel arch liner to access it) or it's at the back of the engine. The wheel arch location is more common.

and ive got a 3.2 petrol vectra

is that true? it though my vec had electric power steering

it has an electric pump - but its still fluidically controlled and therefore still needs oil

kk. tar mate. is there like an oil bottle behind the wheel arch & or does it use power steering fluid or?

if there was a little bit of oil in the cap, would the steering wheel feel harder then usual?

If there's not enough fluid in the power steering system, then you'll lose some or all of the assistance you normally get.

Have you ever taken the front bumper off? If you have, you'll have undone three torx screws at the front of each wheel arch - these 3 screws also help hold the wheel arch liner in place. Start with undoing these, then look for additional clips and screws holding the rest of it in place. From memory the liner only covers the front part of the wheel arch.
