    Default Af40 auto box drain and fill plug locations

    Attached you will see what i think are the drain plug and refill point for the oil on my AF40 box.

    is this correct as i cant see anything else that looks correct or is the hex plug the one that should never be touched!

    Haynes manual lists and shows it as a bolt type which i dont have.

    advice welcome

    the drain is below the drivers side driveshaft and slighty towards the front of the car, the filler is by the gear selector from what I can make out from the pics on autodata. hth.

    Did you ever deterrmine if the pic is the correct drain plug? You are correct about the filler but not sure about the drain?
