Hi guys had my at garage and it turns out it the po180 fuel temp sensor/fuel filter housing sensor if anyone can help me out :d with this gone would it drastically change car performance?

Hi guys had my at garage and it turns out it the po180 fuel temp sensor/fuel filter housing sensor if anyone can help me out :d with this gone would it drastically change car performance?
fault code P0180 is fuel temperature sensor short-circuit/interruption. I'm not sure, but i think this is in the fuel filter. Have you changed the filter recently,if so recheck the electrical connections on the underside. Sorry to say if this is faulty, i also think it comes as a complete filter assembly.
