    Unhappy Clutch noise

    Hey,

When i push the clutch whilst out of gear there is a slight grinding noise. There is no noise whilst just ticking over and no noise when clutch all the way down, only half way.

    Bearing, new clutch?

That noise is usually the thrust bearing, but you normally only find it when you have your foot off the clutch pedal.

    I bet alot of
money it will be your DMf (dual mass flywheel) only cure is to replace it

    Independant local garage 600-900quid
    vauxhall dealer 1000-1400 quid
diy free but parts are 250-350 and it's a big old job to do if your not clued up

If there's no noise when your foot is off the pedal it is more than likely going to be the concentric slave cylinder, the noise you describe doesn't sound like flywheel, thats more of a rattle than a grind. The only cure for it is gearbox out and a new slave cylinder, while the box is out it might be an idea to check the flywheel and clutch as your going to be paying virtually the same labour as if you were changing them anyway.
