    Default Rear silencer removal

Got a new back box coming for my 2.2 (Z22se) as it's badly corroded and looks a right mess!!are these quite easy to fit, or more to the point how difficult is it to get the old one off? also does the new one require exhaust paste to seal or are they of the self sealing type?
    Cheers Pete

Cheers guys already had a look under there, was just more concerned as to how seized / rusted on the box will be , don't really want be hammering it off or the likes just in case it damages the other part .
    Cheers Pete

Hopefully silencer will arrive tomorrow, just having a look on TIS and in Haynes manual and it seems to say that the whole exhaust system has to be removed for partial replacement/ seperation of sections any ideas why they would say this , does seem a bit strange!, now wondering what damage I may cause else where to the system by not removing the whole system (which I don't want to do)

you can undo the middle section rubbers this lets it hang down enough to get the backbox out
