Angry You won't belive what happened today at work...

I'm a assistant site agent on one of buckinghamshire's building sites and today we had a delivery of furniture i was the one who is dealing whith that kind off stuff so told banksmn to reverse the lorry and 2 labourers to unload but in a mean time the excavator pulled next to the loory and driver jump out of it shouting on me that lorry is on his was. so i told thim to calm down and give 5min to unload. then... she jumped on me and started pushing me and wanted to fight my site manager got "involved"... but.... he did nothing!! the bloke was very agressive and abusive towards my person so by the site rules he should be removed for good... but yes again but... site agent did nothink and the worse the groundworker boss came to me and to side agent and told us that if his bloke will be removed from site he will f*** us up... i'm in dillemma right now should i report it further up to construct director? but i dont wont to put ste manager into trouble becouse he can't control people on site... ehhh what a dau i'm telling you. if it would be e bloke would be off stright away.... by the way the whole incident have been spoted by all workers on site so i have about 15 witnesses and every each one said that the behaviour of that man was out of order and that site agent is a pu***y....
    what should i do?

In my honest opinion, follow the correct procedures. There is no need for what could be classed as bullying

Mick this behaviour is in-excusable and should with no hesitation be reported as this may well be the thin end of a very unpleasant wedge. I would be in the same dilemma as you are as I hate to draw flack from above by reporting a disciplinary procedure but would make sure my own end was covered.

Perhaps you should approach the site manager tomorrow and ask why he never did anything, give him a chance to reappraise what happened and maybe take retrospective action towards the digger driver. If he says he's doing nothing go to the next manager up the tree.

I'd check with some of the witnesses to make sure if you report it, they'll back up what you say, then do as above.

Some of the guys on sites are complete weirdos, im on and off sites all day as im a tipper driver and the differences in attitude from site to site is like night and day.

Definetly get the guy reported as he sounds like a bit of a nugget.
