    Default whats the gain

hi, what would be the difference in performance gain from getting just a k & n air filter and doing the airbox mod compared to doing a say £70 induction kit and mod?

also any thoughts on piper cross panel filters?

For me it was nothing. Also didn't gain anything after installing a K&N apollo enclosed pod filter. Although, it sounds so, so, soooo mean.

Stock paper filter = best filtration.

Cotton filter K&N = less filtration.

Foam filter Pipercross = worst filtration.

so are you sayin a standard cheap paper filter is better than k & n's products? why would so many people change it if this was the case?

I'm saying it filters the air better than both cotton and foam.

I have a k and n and car feels smoother and def hear more turbo whistle but I can't really notice any difference the k and n panel filter has less filtration but
more flow of air so more air equals more fuel you can burn more power lol it is worth it as you can wash them and I have always had k and n panel filters def worth it really if you do other mods like tuning box, airbox mod, and exhaust you will then see the difference
