Default 2.2 Direct Petrol unstable acceleration

I have an 04 2.2 z22yh engine vectra and I'm now pulling my hair out. Last week the car went into get you home mode warning lights on. Had a mobile mechanic look at it ran the diagnostics which showed Air Mass fault. This was changed, it then showed faults on Cylinders 1 and 4 the coil pack was changed. Its still doing the same fault. Basically when accelerating it feels as though its misfiring. The car is jerky to drive and struggles to reach anything above 4000 RPM no matter what gear is used. Does any body have any ideas. There are no fault codes in the ECU as these cleared after the air mass was changed.

    Please help

Common problem on the CDTi mate but not the 2.2 petrol. It'll be the HP pump or Reg for sure.

My vectra Z22Yh did the same replaced plugs twice, coil pack twice EGR, had FPR done on recall, still ran like a bag of spanners turned out as last resort bought the continental fuel pump swapped over and car ran smooth, and after 3 short runs, with restarts, EML light went Off.
