    Default visible twin exhaust 3.0cdti

on a preface 3.0cdti with hidden tailpipes whats the cheapest way to expose them, does the rear bottom valence come off? do i need a complete sri bumper, is it just a matter of chopping the downwards tailpipes off and stick some straight ones on? any help much appreciated

You can either cut the trim you have or source an sri bumper

as john said ,i had the same idea as i have a elite 1.9cdti . in the end i got a sri bumper with the vxr insert for 60 pounds off a member on here last year .had it sprayed in my colour and went for a twin exhaust from mij which cost 350 , but you can do it cheaper ,some have gone to powerflow and just got some tips added and cut round the bottom off the bumper . khalid

They do come up for sale and normally around £120 for the bumper. I chose the JDL route in the end with a twin powerflow system

Check out Ian-Highlanders car, looks like he has trimmed the lower bumper to fit a twin exit exhaust.

Heh, only because I'm too damned lazy to finish prepping the SRi bumper and VXR diffuser I bought to replace it and as the car's going to be up for sale shortly anyway, I'm just going to chuck the rear bumper in for whoever buys it and they can finish it themselves.
