Just wait till a mod or admin post or alter that thread in any way and its seen as the site approves

think what he means is that an admin posting on the topic on that forum without condoning what is said would be seen as the admin(and hence the site) agreeing with the view expressed

That's what I thought he (BigSig) was getting at, but given that one of them was an Admin of the site...

The 58-year-old builder admitted he was an administrator for the ASF website and one of his posts read:....

....it was clearly the views of the site too! lol

Sorry D, thats not quite what I meant.

What I was trying to say was if a topic is posted on a forum and a mod or admin comment, add to or alter a post it could be seen as they approve of what has been posted. Well thats how I understand it anyway.

Having read the link post now, I suspect they were charged under the anti terrorism laws, the evidence included books etc known to be used for terrorist inforrmation/research.

Just really surprised they can find out where you live if someone doesn't like your threads.
Thing is, you see people posting on forums all the time how they want to batter the chavs who scratched their car, broke into car etc., and nobody bats an eyelid -- but as soon as someone mentions jews and anti-semitism it suddenly gets reallyy serious.
Not to condone it in any way obviously, but i've seen other posts on forums which are racist - some are obviously meant as jokes, but how can you really tell from text?
