    Default air flow meter

    1.How much labour should i be charged to fit one of these on a vectra 1.9 cdti 150, is there much involved

    2. how can you physically check to see if the EGR is seized open or shut . i've had new inlet m done and still no power turbo not kicking in, no smoke checked all hose's and pipes puzzled

    if you have air flow faults then this would prevent the car driving at "full power"
    to change the air flow meter (MAF sensor) - model dependant - undo 2 screws, remove a wiring retaining clip and then remove - fit new and reverse of above... 5-10 minutes max ...then test it

    cheerz deztroyer if i have air flow probs would it cause the turbo not to kick in, or could the egr valve be causing the turbo not to kick in

    if the MAF sensors not working correctly then it would restrict power -which would affect airflow and the Turbo's operation -

    have you read the fault code?? becuase the sensor not working could be down to an air leak rather than a sensor fault
