    Unhappy nuts

    well started on today to clean egr valve and replace discs and pads with new grooved drilled and pads and paint calipers (yellow on pomegranite) got car on all 4 stands all wheels of and brake calipers of just carriers to go and no e20 socket after 2 hours searching shops had to buy halfrauds 150 peice socket set so 120 notes down for a socket and non of the bolts will move tried everything ended up putting it all back together and taking to garage in morning for a mate to have a go at bolts . well peaved

    wen i had to take mine of i had to use a long tube over the ratchet to move mine

    Those caliper bolts can be a swine!

    I already owned the Halfords 150 piece kit when I first wanted to remove calipers, so I also bought the 16" 1/2" drive breaker bar. As the Halfords E sockets were 3/8" drive I had to use the 1/2" - 3/8" reducer thingy but eventually, after a few uses, that just shears. So I just went and bought the E20, E18 (for rears) sockets in 1/2" drive and that had them off a damn site easier.

    If you make sure that the wheels are turned to full lock as well (if you hadn't already) then you'll find that you get a far better angle/leverage as you'll be clear (just) of the wheel arch to give you a better position with the bar.

    well job done new breaks on just calipers to paint but they can wait till after mot then ill post picks

    Them 120's need big brakes for all that power

    Seriously though, not wanting to sound rude, how come youve took some lovely sri wheels off and put those wheels on ???
