    Default very poorly veccy c

Hi everybody, whilst im new to the forum im not new to vauxhalls and have been a member of several forums including vectra-sport, vvoc and omega owners, i will be popping in regularly to aid people in any way i can, but right now i need some help myself,

i purchased a veccy c 1.8 sri on saturday but it is seriously lacking in the power department, in other words you could not wheel spin it in butter, the emission control light was on and the revs would go up and down and try and stall.
today i connected opcom and found 29 fault codes so i cleared them and now only have 3 fault codes that wont clear.
now the strange thing is when i cleared the fault codes the emission control light went out but i have gained a car with a spanner

these are the fault codes i have and any help would be gratefully received

p0170, start by looking at the mass air flow sensor, see if the wire inside dirty, clean with electrical cleaner, dont touch it with fingers!!!!!!

p1230, maybe similar issue with throttle body, again, clean,,

b3974, maybe just a dirty window switch, its covered in the how too section

they might well work, just a suggestion based on high voltage or open circuit, worth checking,

i will certainly give it a try, as i have nothing to lose, i am a mechanical man and can strip and rebuild an engine but when it comes to tracing electrical problems im at a complete loss

The last you have.. i also have with no faulty swith or anything, just ignore it. its there probaly because you have had the doorlocking mechanisme changed. and how to tell, if you can lock the driveres door (on the door pin) without the other doors locks.
