XENON Headlight advice

can I just repace my current facelift headlights with original vauxhall xenon headlights and the ballasts?

its a lot work and money to do, so not really


you would be better of just buying some hids

Think there is all sorts of sensors ans auto levelling stuff you would have to fit, including a new CIM i think. Quite a big job to do...

Merikito fitted standard Xenons (not AFL's) and bypassed the level sensors (MOT fail on factory spec ones if you havent got auto levellers I think ) without a problem, just needed to cut and shut the wiring of the plugs to the headlights a bit. Duncan is looking to do exactly the same thing on this.. So maybe a meet at some point and do a masterclass and change both cars over at once?

No it isn't mate. As long as the beam aim is correct on the beam tester it'll pass. Self levelling systems on xenons are not testable.
