Default Hesitant power with 150 cdti

Hi everyone i have just lately noticed that the car is rather slow to pick up any speed from a standing start. Always like when at junctions and roundabouts once going it will pick up fine but just that slowness to start with.
Any ideas as to what it could be possibly. I did clean the EGR valve out recently. Thanks.

My 57 plate 1.9 DTTi [150] SRi with 27000 on the clock has the same slow take up - especially in 1st gear t junctions / roundabouts....
Just wondering if the airbox mod discussed in here would help

The "flat spot" as I see it being refered to is discussed here.......
And the peeps replacing or even cleaning the EGR valve seem to get temp releif.
I dont know what an EGR Valve is or even where to find it under the hood !!!
But more info on that canbe found here:

The airbox mod which I was thinking of is discussed here.

But looking for a more seasoned owner to advise whther the "Flat Spot" will be cured with the airbox mod or do I get down & dirty with a cleanup or replacement of the EGR valve?

If there is a slow pick up it is most likely a dodgy EGR valve.
