    Default roof rack for bike

    im after a bike carrier but dont want the ones that fit on the boot i want the roof one but i dont have a roof rack anybody know where i can get a cheap one? i aint got a clue with these first time im getting a roof rack

    Ebay or Gumtree is your best bet. If you buy Thule go to their website and check which parts are required then buy them separately from ebay. Usually works out much cheaper.

    The halfords kit is £118 for the roof bars and fittings for the same stuff on ebay £114 so there aint much diff i would profer to get it from halfords aswell tbh

    Not much difference, plus if you a problem you can tale it back. I pick mine up today, just need the bike carrier for it now.

    I bought VX roof bars from e-bay for £37. Bargain and they're fantastic. Aero bars like Thule (probably made by Thule anyway for VX), but it takes literally 30 seconds to fit them.

    Thats a great buy, they are £120 new.
