Just had the Sub output switched on with tech 2 on my opera HU , they are also looking tofind a bit more out about the factory sub , going to use the sub channel for my tube now .

Interesting, I have the Opera unit as well. Is the output on the back via RCA jacks?
Interesting indeed.... if the Sub isn't 2 expensive, could be tempted.

The Sub output is via the multiblock that connects to the back of the radio not RCA I'm afraid.
It Works !!!!! Right im using the Sub+ and Sub - on the rear of my unit going to the speaker inputs of the bass tube , its made one hell of a difference ! it now wobbles and drops ! because its not affected by the time delays of the DSP .
Once enabled with Tech 2 you will get Subwoofer in the main sound display
Go into it and you can adjust gain of the sub , from off to very loud !

Did you scotchlock into the Sub+ and Sub-?
nope solder but i came off my audio transfer lead , if the pins are not occupied you will need to bare the wire shove them in the holes and cable tie them to exsisting wires to keep them in ,scotch locks are a swear word !!!!
