    Default Epic road trips...

While on holiday in Turkey last week i got speaking to a fella in a as his UK civic type S was sitting outside the door. Te fella had told me he had driven from Lincoln to kayakoy (muzzys place to be exact) in just over 2 days, I was very sceptical of the time driven etc as its a LONG was but he pulled it up on his satnav - seriously impressive feat is it not or is this type of distance OK on the good continental roads?

Now after a terrible journey back yesterday, im thinking planes are a thing of the past for me, so what is a feasible distance to cover day to day in europe so i can plan how far to travel next year by car

I love roads trips.. A couple of years back I did a 4000 mile trip around the south western US in a Jeep, that was amazing.. Have driven across Saudi, from Bahrain to Aqaba in Jordan, was hard going that one with nothing much to see.. Drove around Sweden for a couple of weeks, good fun but to many speed traps...

Well it depends on where and when..

When going south.. i normaly tend to go 700-800 miles.. but going north only about 500-600 miles... a day.

We have done many trips across Europe, often as far east as the old
of Germany and as far south as Italy, Austria and Slovenia.

These trips are great fun, but can be hard work and do require
a bit of planning in advance.

How many miles per day, will be goverened by many factors: the car you are driving, the location, how many drivers to share the driving and of course
    the weather.

What ever you decide to do, enjoy anf be safe.
