Default Rolling road result from AMD Technic

An interesting day as I went with an Astra clib but there were all sorts there. I was somewhat confused with their corrections, as it was just over 30Deg there (V hot today wasn't it) and the corrected power was less than the measured

Still, they read 220bhp/319lbft before correction and recon that I would have made 217bhp at the cooler ISO 1585 standard (not likely).

And yes there was a little bit of smoke

    lmoa at that piccy

yep was reading on vxrol that there were some unhappy people with the results ... but at 30 degrees heat soak from standing vehicles and constant reruns as well as hot air wouldnt have helped at all - so not a bad result

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

Well I wouldn't expect much more as it still hasn't been remapped and there were standard cares going on with standard figures (admitedly, they usually make more than standard). A civic Type-R made a massive 135lbft of torque at 7500 rpm XD

    That's about right for a 2 litre N/A engine.

High revving petrol engine without turbo = ****** all torque.

F1 cars only make around 250lbft torque.

But much lower close ratio gearing, in both cases, makes up for that.

Doesn't make up for it very well as was proved at santa pod when the smaller, lighter type-r was repeatedly blown away by the 1.9cdti vectras.n
