    Default ohh the little s***s

right, how annoyed, just gone to pick up my old car which i have for sale, only brining it home as i had a couple of people want to come see it sunday/monday. some little so snd so has keyed it all down one side, my astra looks ruined, i have had that immaculate for 2 1/2 yrs and not a noticable scratch or dent. would the insurance do a repair for this as its seriously ruined it and de-valued it and im more than happy to bump the premium up if its possible to so, i needed the value of that car so much?

any one got any idea if fully comp covers vandalism or anything?

if i find out who done it (not that i have a laser)

I think to get it covered by insurance you would have to report it to Plod first and get a crime number.

yeah i didnt think about that, i am gutted. what is it with the little ..... i mean i used to get up to all sorts of stuff when i was knocking about the estate and stuff but never ever just keyed someones car for the sake of it. gits

anyway, the question is really is still the damage to front wing and thenthey stopped to avoid the wing mirror and carried on from the drivers door all the way to the rear panel. the cost would be high but they cant write a car off for it can they as im not sure how much a side of car re-spray would be?

A lot depends on how far into the paint the key has gone, its quite labour intensive to get everything all levelled out before painting so I suppose potentially it could get written off on that basis, depending on the age of the car, good luck getting it sorted
