    Default Bulb failure in Europe

    How are we meant to travel in Europe in our fine vehicles when it is an offence to drive with a dud bulb and it requires an Opel garage to change the offending bulb? What is the procedure if this happens miles from a garage or out of normal hours,as sods law says it will?

    Carry on to nearest gasstation and buy a new one.. atleast not at problem in denmark.. and if on rear on the vec.. another takes over

    Yeah great. I've got spare bulbs as it is a legal requirement to carry them in Europe. My problem is the fact that the drivers side bulbs require the partial dismantling of my 09 plate Vectra C.

    I only have a prefacelift.. and i can change the bulps without taking anything off.. maby the facelift have less space to make it change.. (be happy you dont need a astra.. one of them you ahve to take the frontwheel off to change it....)

    Only changed dip on the Drivers side so far on my Facelift, found taking airbox off the 3 rubbers gave ample room.

    By the way Grumpy1954. Would a K&N panel filter be ok under warranty as it's not Vx part?
