    Default aarrgghhh. its all worse than i thought

    any advice on getting alot of scratches out of the please, some will be too deep and some may be ok but there is a lot?
    feel like a spray job all round but she would kill me and it would skint me forever, i have been out with some t-cut and my finger is killing me and i aint even made a dent in it(feel like making some big ones in it alright)
    im after

    1. any tips

    2. any tips on a good polisher which is not pricey

    3. any more tips

    i have a chip kit from halfors(correct colour supoposedly) but im carp at stuff like this. am looking into getting the bonnet and front bumper resprayed but when i keep looking at the rest of the car after cleaning it makes me think if its worth it

    Have a go with some Turtle Wax Colour Magic polish. Also have you tried the T-Cut scratch remover, both of these are coloured.

    take it to a good body shop most places will charge you £60-80 for them to run a mop over it, this will remove all faint scratches and improve the deep ones and it will make it look as good as new. And if you wanted you good get them to scotch guard it and this will help prevent any light scratches

    how much do they charge for that?

    my neighbour has buffer machine so im gonna give it a go in the morning, probably end up with a patchy white car as im bound to get carried away


    any tips for while using the polisher?

    dont be afraid of it!!

    just plough on and get on with it matey, when i was sorting out my flame red, i used about 4 different products none of which were abrasive enough so in the end i used bog standard fishy smelling T-cut (not coloured) the entire car and it worked a treat!

    many advise not using t-cut but it worked perfectly for me, just make sure you put plenty of wax on after to seal up the fresh paint nicely!!
