signum fault

hi every one, have just bought a signum 2.0 dti, had it three days and today it has all gone wrong, pulling of a roundabout, the sterring went, the dash lit up like a christmas tree, i pulled over and turned it off, thinking this would reset every thing and all would be ok. Was i wrong, engine would'nt start, nothing happened on the turn of the key, AA towed to main dealer! has any one out there ever experienced the same problem and if so how do i fix it? please help if ye can cheers, chris

Never had a problem with mine m8. Hope the dealer finds it only something small.

the cars had a bump in previous life, o/s/f corner been hit,when they repaired it they did,nt tighten up all the earth leads, which have shorted out and burnt out the ecu's. car is kerput

Flippen heck m8, at least it happened so soon, where ever you brought it from will have to take it back and refund/replace it !!!

indeed, trading standards law.... any garage/ sales place has to give 6 months warranty by law...not many will let you know this or even aknowledge this...

well pleased to say after a few 'heated' phone calls, the garage i purchased it from have took it back and changed it for a 04 plate 2.2dti elegance with 20 thousand miles less on, years tax, two tyres and a full tank of diesel, so in a weird kinda way it's worked out better for me! whats these 2.2 dti's like then?

can't yet i dont pick up till tommora, even then its still a standard car, need to add my own touch of individuality to it. will never match me astra coupe though, had to buy family cars as theres a mini vauxhall nut on its way, scary!
