Vectra 2.2 Direct Air Con Whining

Hi Guys,

Just recently I have noticed a whining noise coming from the engine bay when reving and it only happens when the air con is on. The air con works fine but this damn whining is making me turn it off especially round town but over say 40mph its not noticeable. Any ideas like a dry bearing or something?

Probably just the AC pump working harder as it's warmer weather. Mine makes a similar noise during the day, but is a lot quieter in the evening when it's cooler.

Its possible, It never used to do it but its a lot more audible than it was, i will keep an eye on it. I will try it when its cool.
