    Default Stuck Rear Wheels

    Morning All

    I have a problem which I am sure you will be able to help me with

    My rear wheels are weld on to the hub. I have tried WD40 & a big hammer but no luck.

    Please all ideas welcome?

    Put all the wheel bolts back on the wheel, lower the car to the ground, loosen the bolts a little bit, then drive a few yards at slow speed - the forces on the wheel will shake it loose as the bolts aren't holding it tightly to the hub.

    I had this problem on my car when doing the rear brakes. i jacked the car up on the trolley jack and also put a axle stand under the car as a bit extra support then used a sledge hammer and gave it a good whack, wheel came straight off.

    It is a real issue, I have now taken to removing the wheels every few months and re- copper-greasing them after a massive issue on my Saab in the middle of winter, it is a ballache but in the long run probably worth it to me at least.
