Default Cosford... HUGE thanks to EVERYONE.

Thank you all so much for coming... now this will probably be a lot of waffle, but here I go:

I've had such a brilliant day, except the traffic on the way there and the traffic on the way back... but I'm putting that down to a combination of Vx Sat Nav, and Pauls ability as a Traffic Bobby to sniff out all the trouble on the road... cos we definitely found loads of it!!!!!!

I was like an exciteable 5 year old when I got home, and just had to have a nap!!!

Its a bit of a cliche I know.... but today would not have been such a good day out if it wasn't for the effort that everyone put into getting there and getting on with each other. Its always great to see so many people putting in the effort with the cleaning of the cars etc etc, and it pays off when you get that many cars in one place and all the other museum-goers can't help staring at you all with a look of "Who the bl00dy hell do they think they are?!?!?"

My apologies if I did not get to talk to you all, or introduce myself to everybody, but I'm sure I will see you all again at a meet somewhere in future, and we'll chat more then.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, that turned up today is an absolute credit to themselves, and to this club. Some of you travelled so much further than I thought people would just for a get together in a car-park, and that is brilliant, cos its so much more than just that. Especially those of you that made this meet your first ever. Its great to see people who have never met, or have only spoken through this site, getting together and chatting with each other as if they have been best of friends for years.

So, here's to you - vectra-c.com ..... you're all absolutely bl00dy brilliant, give yourself a round of applause!!!

I feel a bit of a fraud taking any credit for organisation..... all I did was look at a date that I wasn't working and steal someone elses idea for a location (thanks Paul)... the rest is down to you guys, and I genuinely mean that.

The Vx satnav managed to find those nice, narrow lanes after the main road was closed. Shame it couldn't do anything about the old codger in the Vec B in front!!

Had a great time and a good laugth.

And didn't even mind the jams on the 'alternative' route home (Although the Silver Peugeot hogging the middle lane nearly got 'some!'

Look forward to the next one and seeing you all again soon.

Larisa, pressed shortest route on our sat nav, it took us over every road with speed bumps on it , must have took us longere to get home the "short way" than on the motor way "long route", But it was a great day out. cheers all.
