    nah mate just work a small section at a time get some decent pads hex logic are good plus sonus

    Meg pads will be fine mate just apply small pea sized amounts and work it on a slow speed then gradually speed up until polish has cleared,then buff off with a MF and check your work
    Some heavy swirls may need a few passes but just wipe and check

    As your only using a small amount of polish/compound it will more than likely go clear mate with a very fine haze,just wipe it off and check that the paint is defective free but as its a DA it may take a few passes to get rid of cobwebbing and swirls.
    What polish are you using ?

    The megs pads are great and very durable I still have and use my original pad I bought over 2 maybe 3 years ago. just be carefull when removeing them from the backing plate ease the velcro off the pad and pull the velcro not the foam.

    For technique have a read of Dave KG's dual action guide on Detailing world, it is all you need.

    Take your time, it isnt a case of 3 passes over the area will get you the results or make the polish go clear there are so many different aspects that affect everything else. Always start with a lighter pad and polish combination, ther eis no point removing more paint that needed to get the results, I usually start with a medium pad and light polish.

    great guide btw dependant on what polish and pad you use i personally use a SFX 1 pad with SFX 2 polish and its given me great results
