Default SRi 2.0T Edition 100 major issues

    Morning guys

I have a major issue with my engine

This started on Saturday with a huge cloud of white smoke from the rear, then when checked the oil was nowhere to be found...i had no oil warning light come on or anything.

Now the car starts fine, i put in a full 2 Ltr's of oil, but the car has horrendous white smoke and very sticky to drive, on first start the air intake is very erratic...like sook..sook..sook..sook instead of a constant flow it's a bit of a rhythm to it and noisyish.

I have stopped using the car at the moment, also i did heard a kind of mechanical click click click noise then loads of white smoke again.

I suspect turbo seals, but now not sure.....stem seals??? or just plain goosed??

On start up this morning....loads of white smoke and coke smell, so it's dropping oil into the turbo I suspect and burning it off? then after the lumpyness was gone so was the smoke on idle. Took it to end of road and back...can hear the turbo spin up, then change gear.....puff of white smoke. No water loss

    Any ideas??

sounds like quite a major oil leak into the turbo probably from the compressor side which is more common....(2 litres down is a lot) i wouldnt even attemp to drive it any further until correctly diagnosed as you could cause irrepreable damage to the engine and turbo and once its sucked though the exhaust system you knacker the cat as well

get it recovered to someone who knows what their doing

hope you get it sorted mate

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

Oil smoke is normally blue, white is normally water.

Have you taken the hoses off the turbo to see if they are full of oil? Check the intercooler too.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Not taken any pipes off as yet....will do it later on and see whats going on. The smoke is white/blue....so deffo not water and i'm not losing any coolant.

What pipes should I be looking at? Wondering if the return pipe is possibly blocked as well and dumping it into the turbo....but with the amount of smoke there is...I suspect the seals are totally shot.
