    rolleyes 150 CDTI Engine cover

Is it just me or has anyone else had trouble fitting this back in place. It always seems to be loose and rattles has anyone found a way of getting it to hold on the fixings.

Don't know know if you can buy new rubber mounts as they tend to tear - well mines has this is because when you remove the engine cover they stay on the engine cover

    No, fits perfect.

Are you putting the rubbers back on the cover when you remove it, as they tend to stay on the fitment on the engine side.

when taken off, you need to remove the rubber plugs from the engine and attach them back onto the underside of the cover and then line up with oil cap and push it down.

Damn will try this then....lol feel a bit daft now. Just always assumed they were supposed to be on the engine side. Thanks for the advice.

As Gazza4 said, you know when they are worn, beacuse they stay on the cover and not the engine!
