888 vs GSi

Well tonight i met up with Andrew, he is down with his girlfriend to watch the BTCC at Donnington.We had a drink and a bite to eat and then it was time to take the 888 out for a test drive.Well it was an absolute pleasure ,superb road handling due to the low ride, the brakes are amazing,they stop you dead.The car without the sport button was fast,but then you hit that button and the car just comes alive phernominal!!!And this from an oil burner aswell!
Anyway good old Phil rang and said he was on his way to mine,so i told him what i was up too and he came up to see us.
Now i took the GSi out for a comparison now that Phils had irridium spark plugs fitted the cars an absolute beast a Whole new kettle of fish obviously the Astra is a light car but the GSi engine is fantastic the noise is superb and Quick isn`t the word!!
Combine the two put Phils engine in a Astra and they would have an amazing bit of kit i could quite imagine.Anyway enough waffling .Result was i enjoyed both cars and i could see myself in either of them!!

Bless ya mate .... yes the astra was nice but taking NOTHING at all away from andrew ...i wouldn't have one myself .... but it certainly shifted ....
