    Default op-com

just got my op-com and it works good, but it gives options of

Vectra C with DPF no FP

Vectra C with DPF with FP

ok so i know i have a dpf and its 78% saturated, and 55kms since last regen, but does anyone know what the FP option is for?

    cheers

Not sure about the "FP" mate but I've had plenty of issues with my DPF. I have had a few forced re-gens as it does not seem to clear itself automatically. What kind of milage has it done and have you done anything with your EGR valve at all??

she has 104000 miles and egr replaced at 95k. the car runs fine and it did an automatic regen last week. Just wasnt sure which setting to select on the op-com, didnt want to mess anything up, used the fp one and it accessed no problem, but wondered what the fp meant, thats when i found out about the 78% saturated. So its a good blast tomorrow to try clear some more. There is a setting in the op-com to force a regen if required.

If you do auto selection it should pick up which car you have as it reads the details from the ecu

hey godzilla, did the auto selection, but it gave me a choice of 4 versions, so went for with dpf, no fp and it worked just fine. i also found some dpf's on ebay for just over £200, so when it finally blocks, its not as big a disaster as first assumed. I understand the VX dpf is a hell of alot of money,

    cheers,,
