Had a look at the 888 site but cant seem to find anything for the 2.2 petrol. Ive been thinking about a remap but want to keep the car fully covered by vx and from what im aware the 888 stuff doesnt void the warranty. Any ideas?

It does void the warranty mate as they tell VX they have mapped it. Try chipped uk then kep quiet to VX about the map spikey seems over the moon with his
That the thing the cars always in the dealer with something wrong so it would show up on the diognostics wouldnt it?
Neil would be the guy to ask but as far as im aware unless they were looking for a ma they would not find it..so i have been told..
PM Jayson at Chipped Uk for advice on the warranty side of things, it wasn't an issue for me as mine's out of warranty anyway.
I know with the CDTi he has a cunning method for keeping your warranty intact, but not sure if the same method is used on the petrols (different ECUs).
I wondered how long it would take you to pop along with the chipped uk bit. Have been giving them some thought though as my warranty is up in feb but am thinking of extending it.
With the diesels, as long as the 'check sum' remains the same, the dealer is highly unlikely to delve any further, so Jayson makes sure that it stays the same after the map. Not sure if the petrols work the same way, but if they do then it should not be a problem.
