Default Another spring bites the dust

Just back from MOT centre, car looks and drives 100%, just changed front shocks, droplinks and rear anti-rollbar bushes. At the end of the test he said, there was a couple of things that needed done . Rear spring (was ok 2 weeks ago when I checked them) and one headlight was too low. Gutted to say the least, don't mind failing when I can hear something hanging out of it. Suppose I can't complain the springs have done 100k lol.

Need to change them in pairs anyway mate, but if you going to uprate you will be better doing all four at once to keep the handling right.

there was a letter in autocar last month springs break on new cars because of cost cutting instead of flattening the bottom of the springs level with a grinder they just put a dent in the spring pan which means the end of the coil is its own down fall it puts sharp pressure on the bottom of the spring above the end of the coil thats why springs snap so easy . just thought id put that out there
