full respray is costly and your still liable to get chips scratches and marks etc ... probably on the way back from getting it sprayed

a wrap is cheaper but lible to creases and bubbles appearing in the warm and can still be marked fairly easily ... but is durable and can be removed upto 5-7 years without too many difficulties ..

the 3rd option is a respray and fitting armour fend paint protection tape to the leading edge of the vehicle this is almost bullet proof and will protect the paint very well

IMO i you really want to keep it that colour, a respray every time. Not keen on covering the car in vinyl tbh

Yes. if going for same colour I'd go with respray, For anything else, I've seen some stunning wraps lately, done properly no bubbles etc. I'm told it's the way firms vans etc are going, so on sale they can peel it off and have fresh, clean paint. I'd think about it (after I get tints done lol)

thinking about it, they reckon average cost for a wrap is about £1000, how does this compare to a respray price ?

full respray at a main dealer or large garage 2-4K dependant on the colour and condition of the car to start with

Sprayed you get what you pay for. My mate did a full astra mk4 ex white police, to black for £600... I've not let him touch my car since.

A lad at gym got his 3 series done in white vinyl, you cant tell its vinyl... I'd rather have paint personally however, easier to fix if knock or mark in the future...
