Is anyone able to give a definitive answer.....

Do Vx tint the front windows to the legal max or is there room for 'improvement'..??

I'm happy to just do the B pillar back but would be even happier to do the lot.

I've checked other tint threads but couldn't find what I'm after...sorry if I'm duplicating things.

The windows will aready have the maximum tint applied i.e. they will be 70% transmissive. Any further tint will technically make them illegal - but if you only add a very, very light tint you are very unlikely to attract any attention.

Just came back from Evolution in Fife who assure me that the windows are clear....!? Surprised me a bit but he was adamant that they are clear and that just about everyone who comes to them are convinced they're car has a factory tint when they haven't. Getting well confused now.

Put a piece of white paper one side of the glass and look at it from the other, that should show if there is a tint... other wise the paper would look white throught the glass.

Have a look at the information etched in the corner of the window, level of factory tint will be there as a %

It´s a bless...here in mexico we can tint with no regrets....There´s a law about this but as many laws here...no body pays attention to them or nobody enforce them....good or bad...as you want to see it.

How thick is the film for tints that you use there?....you don´t have problems with the electric windows?
