Speedo goes up very quick = good

Fuel gauge goes down very quick = bad

For the engine size they're not bad on fuel unless you have a desire to floor it everywhere.

They sound nice and are very smooth, and are quick (quicker than they actually feel).

Downside: The Sickening feeling when you have to give it up because finances make you buy a diesel......

by all accounts, sounds like it's not going to give trouble. i'd just stay away from the police ones as they've had a very hard time.
    so, another good : reliability

Good: quick (very if needed) regardless of gear, pulls from less that 1500 revs easily, smooth, reliable (overall), incredible long distance cruiser, comfortable. Matches well with the Auto box. In Elite form is very understated which I like.

Bad: Economy obviously isn't great depending on how it's driven, having said that I average just under 30MPG with the majority of my driving on motorways at sensible cruising speeds and the occasional A-road fun.

Toys will depend on spec. Not sure how your specs match but my Elite is well fitted and had a bunch of options on top.

I've had mine 6 years now (it is just over 7 years old). Car has done around 97K miles (80K with me). Usual Vec C items such as broken springs but mechanically good given miles.

I went from a diesel to a 3.2 due to the possible massive repair bills.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

fuel - had it as low as 25mpg to a tank and as high as 40mpg on a run. normally 30mpg.
pull - it will pull from any rev in any gear - 5th at 30mph and you're off...lol
speed - it beats any normal car and you can do over 100mph in 3rd gear.
sound - great, but I wish the quad irmscher exhaust was a bit louder.
