Signum has gone... (probably not to a better place)

I'm afraid I've left Vectra/Signum ownership, it was a lot of fun and I'm still going to hang about on the forum and will still come to meets, just in a different guise...

Not bought another vauxhall either, and not even a european car, I was thinking of changing cars, was considering the V6 2.8T signum but ended up buying one of these...

It's a lovely black 1.8 mx5; 2008 with 14000 miles; not as many toys inside as the signum but that's the point, it's stripped out weight saving, but still comfortable. Boot is only 150litres as opposed to the signums over 1000litres with seats down, but we'll just forget about that one!

Handling is fantastic with the RWD, it just needs some new suspension to stop the body roll, and have already ordered an exhaust from Larini who fabricate exhausts for lamborghini, ferrari, pagani etc

What is strange is that on my drives about since I've got the MX-5, I've seen more modified signums and vectras than before, and obviously they give me funny looks when I "meep meep" the antique horn and wave.

BTW; all my mods off the signum will be going in the for-sale section soon-ish, including irmscher facelift grille, irmscher numberplate surrounds, blue-lit TC/sport switches, and quite a few other bits and bobs!

cheers, it loves the bends! been taking it places the signum would plough through understeering.

not taken it sideways properly, just a few first/second gear turns.
