Car not starting!!!

Hey guys, gotta problem. Gotta 55plate 1.9 cdti 120. Problem is when i go out to start the car in the mornings for work it takes ages to actually start when im turning the key, and when it does eventually start a big cloud of black smoke comes from the exhaust. It happens when im away to come home from work aswell.

Any ideas??

Is it cos the engine is cold and could be something to do with that??

Please help, its getting very annoying!!

Do you let the glow plug light go out?? If so its a long shot but I've not heard of any yet so you could be the first with leak off pipes gone on a CDTi.

id go for the glow plugs or pos the leak off pipes have u tried giving it 2 or 3 pre heats before u try and start it?

Glow plugs were replaced less than 6 months ago and has had a full service about the same time. No warning lights either and yes i do wait for the lights to go out and also try a couple of times but......

Had it to an auto electrician today and they got the injectors leak tested and they all came back fine, so they ran all the diagnostics on my car and it came back with no fault codes on my car so the guy suggested getting all my throttle housing and egr cleaned out properly. He said it was just a suggestion so do u guys think this could affect it in any way??
